Upcoming Changes - Mom's Wishlist

It's hard to believe that the website has been up since Feburary of 2003. Mom would always tell me that "One day I will be able to put pictures on the website". It was just one of the things I never got around to doing. I would sometimes get frustrated when she would call me and ask me how to do something or she forgot how to get in the admin console to put the vineyard online. I now wish she would call and bug me.   MORE >>

From The Vineyard

First of all let me express my sincerest apologies for how long it has taken to get this “tribute” version of The Vineyard to you. I have been trying to work on it during my free time, and that is something I never seem to have a lot of. Another reason for the timeliness would be my struggle with filling this space you are reading… Mom’s space. Quite honestly, I still can’t find the words.   MORE >>

TO CHERYL, MY BARNABAS

Cheryl Tolar lived with cancer. She didn’t die from cancer. She lived her life to the fullest and didn’t allow cancer or anything else to hinder her from the work God had called her to do. Letter to Cheryl

Wow, my friend, what a celebration of your life! But then I thought- no, Cheryl would love this. My Heather said she felt as if she were six years old, back at Westwood.   MORE >>

Tribute to my friend

We use words so freely every day and sometimes we just don’t know exactly what they mean. The old saying that we don’t understand what a person is feeling unless we walk in their shoes is so correct. I know that Cheryl was in pain. She did not complain to me about her pain, fact is she did not complain to me about anything. We talked about how she felt about leaving Dan, her children and grandchildren. She loved her family so much   MORE >>

A Tribute to Cheryl

As most of you may know Cheryl went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 20, 2006. This issue is late in coming because it is very difficult do after such a great loss to our family. We, as a family, want to publish one last issue as a tribute to Cheryl. Even though this issue will be a tribute to her we want the Lord Jesus to be lifted up through it. Her life was a testimony of what God can do through a willing servant.   MORE >>
